Airline Pilot India has it's base in Vadodara, Gujarat. It is owned and operated by Pacific States Aviation with is located in San Francisco Bay Area, California USA. Our goal is not only for pilot students to pass their DGCA/ FAA exams and flight checks but to make them excel in their knowledge and flying skills. DGCA Ground Classes in India are taught by Ex-Air India Captain Basit Z Yahya with over 30 years of airline flying and teaching experience and flight training is provided by Pacific States Aviation in United States which is owned and operated by Rashid Yahya, President of the company and younger brother of Captain Basit Z Yahya. We don't only provide you with best instruction for DGCA exams and Flight Training but when you return with your FAA CPL License we also help you with the conversion of FAA license to DGCA and then help you prepare for airline interview.
This facility includes class room and simulator. Ground Classes are taught in person and online, as required. Our BATD (Basic Aviation Training Device), the simulator has all different types of aircraft options with conventional instruments and glass cockpit (G1000). This is the best tool to learn and practice your instrument flying.
Captain Basit Z Yahya, Ex - Air India, Boeing 787 dreamliner commander
Captain Yahya is a native of Saurashtra/Gujarat and have lived in Mithapur, Calcutta, Vadodara, and Mumbai. He has always loved airplanes and have been passionate about flying and teaching about them. He has over 30 years of airline flying experience with over 20,000 flight hours in different types of transport category aircraft which includes, F27, HS748, Airbus 300, Airbus 319, 320, 321 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner. As a long haul wide body jet Commander he has flown to Europe, Middle East, Australia, and most of the Asian countries including Maldives. He held the ATPL with no restrictions, FRTO, RTR, has been qualified for low visibility takeoff, ILS CAT III B landings, ETOPS, RNAV/GPS, and has was approved for Trans Atlantic and Polar Route flights. His flying career has been free of any incident or accident and with no violation. He now enjoys his retirement at his farm house near Vadodara with his family and continues his love and passion for flying by teaching the next generation of pilots.
Rashid Yahya, President - Pacific States Aviation - USA
Rashid Yahya is the President and CEO of Pacific States Aviation, Inc. His aviation experience and expertise are in Flight Training/Management, Aviation Maintenance, Air Charter, Fixed Based Operations (Aircraft Fueling/Services). He has been honored by the FAA for the Flight Instructor of the year award and by Contra Costa County Board of Supervisor for his contribution to aviation industry and the airports. He has 25 plus years of experience in aviation industry along with 9000 plus flight hours as a Commercial Charter Pilot and Professional Flight Instructor in the United States. Currently he also holds the position of a FAA approved Chief Flight Instructor and a Gold Seal FAA Flight Instructor. He has also been involved in community service work outside the office with Non-Profit Organizations that provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors and helps aid education in various other countries. He continues to dedicate himself to improving Aviation Education and improving the lives of individuals.
